Common Cold
I keep getting cold and I sneeze a lot too. But it is usually aggravated by dust and stuff like that. As a kid, I underwent homeopathy for the same but it did not work. After moving to Bengaluru, my cold occurs more frequently. It is a real pain and I just cannot work because I am sneezing and sniffing half the time. When it gets unbearable I pop a cetrizine which works fine. I used to take sinarest first but it doesn't work on me anymore. My dad hates that I am self medicating but I don't take the medicines so often. Maybe once or twice in a month. I don't know what to do.

Avoid common irritants such as cigarette smoke and sudden temperature changes.
Drink plenty of water.
Use a humidifier.
Try nasal saline sprays or rinses.
If the runny nose is a persistent, watery discharge, particularly if accompanied by sneezing and itchy or watery eyes, your symptoms may be allergy-related and an over-the-counter antihistamine may help...take OTC antipyretics along with above... If symptoms persists more than 3 days even after OTC medication consult physician they will help you.
