Combined pill to minipill change problem

Asked for Female, 23 Years

I recently changed from the combined pill to the mini pill. I was half way through a pack of the combined pill and just changed to the mini pill the day I got it. About 4 days after this I came on my period, and I assumed it was a withdrawal bleed from the combined pill. However, the heavy bleeding has stopped but I am spotting every single day, enough to need a sanitary towel. Sometimes it is black/brown old blood and sometimes it is red. Will I have to wear a pad every day now??

That is your wish but it is the side effect of mini pill because it contains only progesterone may be little spotting will whole month till you use.Are you breast feeding to baby because minipill is suitable for that only.
