Colicaid drop for 1month baby
Hi Dr.
My son is 1month 15 days old and suffering from gas problem. He doesn't allow us to burp him after every feeding and cries a lot.
Physician has suggested to give him colicaid drop 3 times a day, 8 drops - mixing it with milk. Also, a digestive enzyme 6 drop twice daily
Please suggest if we can follow the same, or it's adviced to give empty stomach to child.
His current weight is - 2.8kg

You can give these medicines as advised. You can give it after or before feed. Better to give before feed

Hello,burping is recommended after every feed atleast for 10 to 15 minutes so that excess air comes our from the mouth.Try to burp by keeping your baby on shoulder.Even with proper burping also if your kid is still fussy due to gas then only medications are recommended.
