Cold Sore Healed?
Hi,
About 2.5 weeks ago, I developed a cold sore. I have been using abreva daily with the suggested dosages, and the sore appeared to heal fairly quickly. The scab fell off a little over a week ago.
My lip is still a little pink where the cold sore was. Is it possible that it is still contagious, or is this just scarring? (I
know that HSV1 can technically be contagious even when there are no visible sores. I'm just wondering if it is relatively safe to kiss my partner again).
