Hi, I am Dr. Atul Kumar Nimawat MS ENT You may be experiencing a subacute viral or allergic rhinosinusitis with sinus pressure-related headache, possibly accompanied by upper respiratory tract inflammation. Cough-related headache and facial heaviness often indicate sinus congestion or postnasal drip. Since the symptoms are persisting beyond a week, secondary bacterial infection or persistent allergic inflammation may also be contributing factors.
Next Steps
Steam inhalation – 2–3 times a day with plain water or with eucalyptus oil. Warm saline gargles – to soothe throat and reduce inflammation. Stay hydrated – drink 2.5–3 liters of water/day. Rest – Ensure 7–8 hours of quality sleep.
Health Tips
Headache worsening despite medication Facial swelling or redness Fever more than 101°F Visual disturbances or vomiting Persistent symptoms beyond 10–14 days

You need to get examined first and then medication can be prescribed accordingly. Meanwhile to get relief from cold & cough, take steam inhalation and stay hydrated.
