Cold anf cough
My daughter 2.6yrs old, missed pneumo coagle vaccine 2nd and 3rd dose bcz of frequent cold n cough. Immunity levels are very less due to that she eats plastic and threads aswell. our pediatrician said we can give now pneumo cogle poly sacharide which missed at early stages . Please advise if we take vaccination is there any improvement for this problem suggest me if it true.thanks

Hi thanks for writing to Practo. If it's infection cause. She may have improvement. But if it's allergic cause, she may not. As it is this vaccine has 4 dose schedule which provides 70-80% protection against pneumococcal ds. Now at 2 years age with single shit you will have only 40-50% protection. So it's entirely your decision.
