Suffering from cold and cough for past Two days.witnessed a little quantity of blood in the sputum.

Sometimes severe cough can cause blood to be present in sputum. It is mainly due to rupture of small blood vessels while coughing . However  other lung conditions have to be ruled out. Do you have fever, breathlessness or chest pain? I would suggest you to do a chest x ray and sputum examination.  Take a antihistamine. Review with a doctor.
