Cold and breastfeeding
Hi, My infant is 3.5 week old.I got flu and cold today, shall I continue breastfeeding my baby or I should move to formula.Will breastfeeding pass cold to my kid as well? I am worried because everyone is saying to stop breasfeeding .

Please continue Breast feeding till you are comfortable in feeding baby. If you are very sick and it becomes difficult to feed , in that situation give formula milk till you recover enough to feed. If your baby has to get the infection which you have, It will anyway get it by being close to you. There is no extra disadvantage in breast feeding. In fact breast feeding prevents your baby from vast number of other problems.
