Kindly visit a doctor, get your sputum cultured and antibiotics to be started. Syrup is only for symptomatic relief.

Wet cough requires expectorant and not cough suppressant. Choose your cough syrup wisely after consulting a doctor. Most of the time cough syrups have limited role in curing infection
