Cluster headache treatment
I am suffering from episodic cluster headache from last 8 years with episode of 1 to 1.5 month and remission of 8 to 10 months, attacks per day is 1 to 3 time for maximum time duration of 1 hr for each attack. In previous attacks doctors prescribed steroids( wysolene 10 mg), inderal 10 mg, eliwel 10 mg but it was not that much effective. This time I want to try calcium chanel blocker Plz suggest me the dosage and any other supplements to take

hello. the treatment given to you previously was correct. however Inderal ( propranolol) is more for migraine preventive  than for cluster headache. i would suggest you to consult a neurologist or you can online chat with me for more details. do not use verapamil ie calcium channel blockers on your own. see below in cautions.

for episodic cluster headache. short term prevention beside Prednisolone , Verapamil ie one of the calcium chanel blockers ( generic ) is generally used . dose 40 mg x BD to start with. To be gradually increased. Greater occipital nerve injection is non invaisive trt ,is effective for 6  - 8 wks. For long term prevention. Tab Verapamil and vagus nerve stimulation ( non invaisive ) are prefered.

Verapamil use has Cardio vascular concerns ,hence ECG test before use of Verapamil is recommended. for long term use of verapamil - ecg every 6 mnths is recommended. use it under medical supervision.
