My father aged 72 years, taking antiepileptic medicines named levetracetam 500 (1-0-1.5) and cloba 5 (0-0-1)since last 10 years and now no seizure since last 3-4 years but several side effects like aggressive behaviour, irritation, behaviour & cognitive issues etc etc neuropsychiatric effects. Now as a maintenance, I only want to keep breverateacm 75 (1-0-1) instead of levetracetam 500 (1-0-1.5) and want to taper and stop cloba. So kindly suggest best tapering schedule for cloba 5 (0-0-1) since he's taking cloba 5 (0-0-1) since last 10 years. Thanks

Since patient did nit have any seizures for past 3-4 years, the dose of clobazam can be reduced to 2.5 mg for next three months keeping in mind that there is a possibility of recurrent seizures on reducing the dose.
