For the past two weeks, when I swallow, often I feel like something is popping out or clicking in the throat region around Adam's Apple. I noticed when this happens exactly and I could feel the clicking when I tilt my head slightly backwards. If I tilt my head to the right side the clicking isn't that bad or I don't feel it that much.
I tried feeling the clicking sensation and it feels like the Adam's Apple moves slightly to the right. So if I push that region around Adam's Apple slightly to the left there is not much clicking sometimes I don't even feel the clicking but if I stop pushing the clicking starts once again.
Note that sometimes I could normally swallow without any issue even while tilting my head slightly back
I am into lifting and have been lifting heavy weights recently and noticed I tend to grind my neck and get tensed around the left side of my neck. Could this be a reason?
This is causing me a lot of discomfort.
