I was having abdominal pain on my right side for about a week. I thought maybe gas pains. Then I've been backed up a little bit, so I took some stool softeners and now when I go to the bathroom my stool is a very light clay color. I looked up about that issue and it said about gulstones. I tried looking up to see if the color could be from the stool softeners or not but it didn't give me much information. I was wondering if this is a big concern or wait to see if it keeps happening then see doc

If your stool is clay-colored, you may have a problem with the drainage of your biliary system.Bile salts are released into your stools by your liver, giving the stools a brown color. If your liver is not producing enough bile, or if the flow of the bile is blocked and not draining from your liver, your stools may become pale or clay-colored.
