Hi,
Chronic sinus infection for 3+ months after a really bad upper respitory infection.
It has gotten better but VERY slightly mainly feel that I am “spaced out” and that I’m living in a dream almost.
I have heard that 70% of your immunity lies in your gut so I have been taking 1ltr of kefir per day due to the probiotics.
What if I actually snorted this kefir up my nose And into my sinuses?
It would do more good than harm right?
Any response is greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Probiotics are supportive in treatment of chronic rhinosinusitis but alone they are not really helpful. Since your symptoms are not very chronic you may be treated medically by a course of antibiotics, steroid nasal sprays and anti Histamine medicines for few weeks
Next Steps
Consult nearby ENT specialist for confirmation of diagnosis and appropriate treatment if required
