Chronic hepatitis B
Is it OK to marry a guy who is suffering with chronic hepatitis B? He is suffering since last 19 years and on medication but his liver profile is completely normal. I am vaccinated for hepatitis B. Please guide me what are the chances that even after vaccination I can get it from him and in future our child can get it?

It’s ok to marry. To term it has chronic hepatitis B his reports HBsAg/ HbeAg should be positive for 6/3 months or his HBV DNA levels should b high. So first get it tested then only we can term him as chronic hepatitis patient. The chances of you getting after vaccination is low however u should keep a check on your anti HBsAg levels and also on his viral load.
