Chronic bacterial prostatitis

Asked for Male, 59 Years

I have chronic bacterial prostatitis and I took feropename tablets after culture test but still taking ciprofloxacin 250 mg 2 times and taking timsulin plus 0.4 . I am feeling much better . How long can take antibiotics. Without antibiotics it relapses. Thanks

It would be difficult to say, for how long you will require maintenance antibiotics to prevent infection. Few months..then after stopping we need to look for any recurrence again. So continue to be in touch with treating doctor, he is doing good job.
