Cholestrol is high
Hi,
Did my cholesterol check at 1 mg-thyrocare labs and got the reports stating in have Very high cholesterol
Just to confirm if reports are correct I did the same test at my nearest pathology lab where I got reports completely different
So when I spoked to them they told me if I have any doubts I must do it any other lab so i did the same and the reports came completely different
Pls guide me which reports to refer and what can be done
Because I am worried if reports of last lab is correct
What medicine to eat and how to lower my cholesterol levels

In both your reports your lipid profile is not what is desired. It is definitely high. But you will require medicines or not, that depends on various other factors like your BP, diabetes, age.. that is your overall risk.
Do a 3 rd test from a reputated lab, and consult a doctor

I suggest you to consult a Cardiologist/Physician with a fresh set of reliable fasting lipid profile reports. No harm in repeating when there is confusion
