Sir as per your answer , I have high cholesterol and tricylerieds 2 year ago but now I lower my cholesterol level and also reduce wait by 15 kg . I changed my eating lifestyle and eat whole fibre , fruits and vegetables .but after all these my cholesterol marks below eyes not finished. sir is laser treatment permanently remove these marks. please sir guide me. by profession I am chartered accountant.

Thanks for the follow up. Xanthelasma has a higher chance of occurrence in people with increased cholesterol levels but can happen in person with normal lipid profile. CO2 laser, Radiofrequency and a certain chemical application - all give good results and may need 2-3 sessions spaced 3 weeks apart. Relapse can however happen with any modality though it is unusual.
