It appears you are talking about video games...see anything in excess is not good for productive functioning of a person..ok...gaming addiction is quite common these days with harmful effects on overall health...So don't delay and Consult a Psychiatrist for detailed evaluation and Management of the case...he may require therapy for it... regards
