Child Psychological problem

Asked for Male, 9 Years

My husband expired in a accident lost year when my son was only seven years old and he is a single child. I was not able to guide him properly and due to many other personal difficulties I sent him to Boarding School at the age of eight years. But now I am very confused whenever I see him feeling very much for being away from home. Please guide me.
