Greetings - Chicken pox scars could usually be just marks - which are pigmented or actual scars which are skin imperfections and have a pitted or excavated appearance. How recently had you had chicken pox? Most pigmented marks lighten in a few days, but persist if the lesions were infected or if you had repeatedly peeled them. Treatment options include skin lightening creams, use of sunscreens, and fractional lasers/punch excision for the 'excavated' scars. See a qualified dermatologist near you. Warm regards.
