Chickenpox - itching

Asked for Male, 39 Years

I am infected with chickenpox since three days. Taking all medicines as per Doctor's prescription. Is it okey to apply lactocalamine on blisters to reduce the itching ? Is it okey to apply on broken blisters too ? Thanks in advance -
