Chicken skin, itchy on upper arms
Hello Doctor,
I am writing about a skin concern on my upper arms.
I did my first ever body waxing on 12th September. About 5 days later, from last week onwards, I started noticing very small, rough bumps on both upper arms which look like "chicken skin". The texture feels rough and bumpy to touch. There is mild redness but no severe itching, no pus, no fever.
This is the first time I have experienced this. I have no known history of eczema or similar bumpy skin before.
My questions are:
1. Is this post-wax folliculitis / irritation or keratosis pilaris?
2. what should i do ? 3. is it curable ? please suggest!!
