Chicken pox
I'm 20 yrs old female. I just had a small concern. Since birth i never had chicken pox . Usually people suffer from it once in lifetime mostly during childhood but im 20 yrs and still didnt had it. Recently all my family members in my home had chicken pox except me. I feel unusual. Im worried if I get it in future life would there be any complications? And what would be the reason i never got chicken pox yet? Is it normal for my age? Do any other people experienced same thing in my age?

Hello ma'am. It's not a problem at all. Its normal to grow up without experiencing chickenpox.

I would advise you to get vaccinated for it if you haven't already. It is better to have chicken pox when you're younger as it is easier to manage in young children and have lesser risks. It isn't necessary that you'll get it unless you've bee exposed to a person with chicken pox who is in his/her infective stage otherwise you can go a lifetime without exposure and infection.
