I've had mild chest pain for the last few days, I also had similar chest pain last week. Both occurrences of this pain have followed an episode of extreme drinking. The pain has been more on the right side of my chest and feels as though someone is sitting on my chest when I try to take a breath in.

The chest pain especially after drinking alcohol could be due to gastritis. I would advise to stop drinking alcohol completely and consult a physician for further evaluation of chest pain.
