Chest Pain and Blood During Spitting

I am asking this for a friend of mine.. He coughs up blood sometimes and he has a difficulty in breathing. He is a national karate player and he got into use of cigarette and alcohol and drugs. Btw he has stopped it now itsm. And he has lost his weight and has chest pain. He has loss of appetite and he gets tired so fast nowadays. And now he is unable to play karate too.. Wish you could help me
