The pain management for stage 4cancer comprises of TOTAL PAIN relief concept. The various components of TOTAL pain include physical, psychological, social, spiritual and economical pains of both the patient and the family members. These not only include physical pain managed by oral/intravenous pain killers. They also comprise of psychological pains being handled by counselling, social pains of separation handled by medico social worker, Spiritual pain being handled by a religious leader. This would be a concept in a nut shell, emphasising a team effort. There could be a possibility. Active way of life is suggested. There are evidence that stress due to sedentary life style could be more harmful, leading to weight gain .Which would be a possibility of cancer.
