Chemical peel
I have a salute sign on my nose for a long time. Dermatologist suggests chemical peel. Is it safe? Any side effects? I don't have acne problem. Is it good for pigmentation?

Yes, peels help with pigmentation. There are different peels depending on how severe and deep the pigmentation is. If done in a clinical setting peels are safe.
