Cellulitis in infant
My niece has been diagnosed with cellulitis in the eye and her left eyebrow s swollen and red and eye is closed for the last 5 days. She's on antibiotic thru IV since last Thursday. There is improvement but very little and slow. Wanted to knw does this take so much time or shud v consult for 2nd opinion. She's admitted in hospital since Thursday.

Yes it does take time . Don't worry You are in good hands Iv antibiotics will help it treat as fast as possible .. but it may take one week to 15 days
