Castor oil for labour pain
My last period date was 7th April, as per this date my 9 months will complete on 7th jan 2021 and  as per the sonography done on 31st Dec my water level is 7.8 and baby weight is 2.6kg. Keeping baby weight and water level in mind my doctor has asked me to drink 30 ml castor oil on 7th jan to induce labour pain. On 1st of Jan with finger test she confirmed that my cervix is little open. I have few questions. 1) Will castor oil help in inducing pain and dilating cervix? 2) Is 7th Jan (exact 9th month completion date) right for having castor oil?

Yes... Castor oil is used sometimes for induction of labour under the supervision of doctors. Yes exact 9 months is good enough for induction . All the best.
