Can you clarify or provide advice?
Hello. i had a polyp (from my anus) removed back in feb.2017 and it was performed by a general surgeon. my followups were clear until november 2017 and had to get an anal tag biopsied. the biopsy resulted in anal cancer. i'm confused why didn't my doctor see a tumor while removing the polyp in feb. 2017? was the location not deep enough to see a tumor?

There may not be a significant problem at that time. OR Oncology is a deferent discipline. General doctors cannot diagnosis or treat such cases.
