Can spotting be considered as period
Hi. I have been recently diagnosed with PCOD and my LMP was 26/5/21. I was on Meprate for 10 days to get my periods. The course was completed on 17/7/21 n I didn't had my periods until 30/7/21. I checked with my Gynaecologist and was advised to start taking Endothik n start another 10 day course of Meprate from 3/8/21. I am experiencing spotting since yesterday which is very light. I have been advised to get blood test and hormone test done on 2nd or 3rd day of period. Can spotting be considered to get these tests done. Please advise.

Proper flow during periods on 2nd and 3rd day is considered as a day for the test to be done. Wait for periods to start completely.
