Can I go under bone surgery afterBell's?

Asked for Female, 21 Years

I'm planning to go under the knife for jaw bone reduction. Im 21 and had bells palsy 6-7years ago and Im wondering if having surgery will trigger it again and make the effects worse? My muscles and skin are tight and hurts very slightly when i pinch it near the ear but no twitching or weakness. Other than that I can move 95% of my face.
