Can I get rabies?
Hello, I'm a volunteer who feeds the cats in our office compound from time to time. Earlier, I accidentally wiped my nose with my shirt using my bare hands while I was feeding the cats using their feeding bowls. All the cats have been treated with anti-rabies vaccine within the last 3 years as part of a TNR program. I've just recently completed all 5 shots of anti-rabies PEP treatment (My last shot was May 16,2018) . Do I have a chance of getting rabies? I was reading through WHO guidelines and I am wondering that if this kind of exposure can be categorized as category III. Should I get booster shots? Thank you.
