The treatment in PCOS is given accordingly to symptoms you present with . like if you have period irregularities then COCPs are the drug of choice . If one has unwanted hair growth then drugs which block male Hormone receptors are given , or if a women has features of insulin resistance then Metformin is given . If you want to conceive then you need to stop YASMIN this tablet is basically a contraceptive.
Next Steps
You treatment needs to be modified. PCOS is a treatable cause of infertility . Many women conceive with life style modifications like weight loss . You can continue tablet Metformin as it will help to induce ovulation but I would suggest you may need drugs for ovulation induction and a proper endocrine work up .
