Can I feed baby if I have infection
I have a baby of 1 month old. Today I got red spots all over my body which seems like manalvari Ammai. Please let me know can I feed my baby and how to avoid this being infected to baby

Hi thanks for writing to Practo. Pls keep baby away from you. Also let baby be taken to pediatrician for further advice on medication if required. You remain infective 2-3 days before rash appeared and for 5-6 days after rash appears. And baby can get it if you breast feed, as virus is found in breast milk too.
