Hi thanks for writing to Practo. Pls keep baby away from you. Also let baby be taken to pediatrician for further advice on medication if required. You remain infective 2-3 days before rash appeared and for 5-6 days after rash appears. And baby can get it if you breast feed, as virus is found in breast milk too.
