Hi, I'm a mother of 3 months old, lately I have being getting cold with running nose and sneezing quite frequently. As I'm a new mom and exclusivities breastfeeding my new born, trying to stay away from medicines as much as possible, and managing cold symptoms by taking steam and applying Vick's in feet. Can I consume chawanprash to increase my immunity while I'm breastfeeding?

Yes Chawanprash can be taken. Check for the expiry date. Include other sources too like turmeric latte and have good quantity of fruits like papaya apple kiwi, etc which are available in present season. Include more of cooked vegetables in diet in form of soup. Have good quality of water in diet 3 lit per day always have a glass of warm pre n post breastfeeding to improve breastfeeding.

Try to keep your diet rich in fruits and vegetable which are rich in vitamins and Minerals and play a role in strengthening of immunity.
Also try to include balanced diet which include all the nutrients.
