Recently I have spent time with an individual having herpes. (Most probably herpes zoster but not sure it could be herpes simplex as well or both together) .
There was no sexual intercourse between us but I have spent a lot of time with the individual which includes sharing utensils and water bottles.
What should be my next necessary step to make sure that it does not affect me.
