Hi, Hope everyone doing Good. My wife having sever calf pain (No joint or knee pains). What will be the reason and which specialist do we need to contact. Please help !!!

Hello there....., I went through your clinical query.... Calf  muscle pain can be due to injury, underlying medical condition or a problem in the nerves or arteries in the lower leg. ...... Dehydration can be another source of calf pain, which manifests itself as a muscle cramps.... Physical therapists can treat the individuals with calf strains by reducing pain, restoring muscle strength and flexibility.... Consider pain relieving medications for few days, rest the limb...Consult Orthopedician....
