Calcified stylo hyloid ligament
Calcified stylo hyloid ligament cause pain in right side just below the angle of mandible? Or it is because of 18×7 mm level IB lymph node oval shaped size?
Last 10 months recurrent pain discomfort.. what the possible reason? My Ent doc said after my physical consultation I have a Somatisation Disorder.
But I am worried cause I have lymph node which size mentioned 18×7mm , calcified ligament?
Please help me regarding this.

Yes calcified stylohyoid ligament can cause pain called eagles syndrome. If the pain is really due to this issue the only effective treatment is surgical shortening of the styloid. But the lymph node needs to be investigated to know the reason why it is enlarged
