Hi
Iam Thejeswar. Iam Medical and Hematooncologist. Please provide the baseline details for better understanding. Post treatment CT suggestive of presence of abnormality. They mentioned it as residual or post treatment changes.
1. To differentiate both first I need to know the patient symptoms status.
2. I would like to have the comparison of CT reports (baseline and current)
Can you please share your pre treatment endoscopy, imaging including PET CT imaging done previously and please mention the last day of completion of above said treatment .
Based on that we have to decide what further treatment you need , it’s difficult to say whether the lesion shown in report is remaining of cancer or if it’s a post treatment change - better to go with a repeat biopsy from the local site , ( as PET CT also tend to show inconclusive reports within 6 weeks of conclusion of radiation ) ,hope you are symptomatically better now , you can consult if you wish so with above reports .
