While burping a baby over the shoulders she always seems to fall asleep and slowly she slips down to the chest area
While I'm constantly aware and alert and keep observing her nose, I feel sometimes when my in laws hold her she is face front into their chest area.
This makes me feel she is not breathing simply because I cannot see her nose, since her head is not sideways.
Do newborns manage to realise the same and turn for breath when they need ? Or is this a cause for concern ?
