Burnt arm while lifting up a cooker.

Asked for Female, 18 Years

Today while cooking, I've burnt my arm while lifting up the cooker off the oven. Will the scar heal with time or I'll have to apply some sort of medicines? I've applied toothpaste within an hour. Will the scar go back to normal within months? Would be highly obliged if you kindly suggest what I should do. Thank you in advance.
