Burning sensation thumb
I hv severe pain & burning sensation in thumbs of both hands. Checked uric acid 6.7. Had same issue month back , doc gave antibiotic but did not helped and subdued after 10 days of medicine. Again re occurred. What could be the reason. On pressing specific spot on thumb, severe pain. Which doc to show ?

Your uric acid is quite border line and I don't think it will be causing the pain but it can always be 1 of the causes. Also it might be due to initial setting in of Rheumatoid Arthritis. Burning sensation is usually cause on neurological problems and should not be neglected. It is initial stage and can be controlled easily by medication.
Next Steps
Get blood test done for RA factor, CRP and CBC. Consult an Orthopaedic/Rheumatologist
Health Tips
Avoid foods which increases Uric Acid. Google then. a few examples are - brinjal, tomato, any kind of beans and pulses, etc
