Hello i had severe burning sensation around my penis base and few white spots on penis glans ( I am circumsized). My doctor said its fungal infection and diagnosed it as mild balanoposthitis. But as to my knowledge i came to know balanoposthitis affects only glans and foreskin and not base of penis. He gave me ketoconazole cream and clotrimazole + momatosone furoate cream to apply and put me on oral fluconazole. He told me to use for a month. Now that it has been a month since i am using the medicine the white spots on glans are gone and burning intensity around the base of penis went down but i am still feeling it is still present around penis base and scrotum and area around the penis base and scrotum has become red now which i think is due to long term use of the ointments. What should i do. Was the diagnosis of the doctor correct about balanoposthitis? Plz guide me. Is it indeed balanoposthitis.
