You seem to be having symptoms of dry eye. When you read continuously for a long period, the number of times you blink per minute reduces, which causes dryness. Try to take frequent breaks, maybe every 20-25 minutes during which you should close your eyes for 20 seconds. Try to blink more while reading. Do not sit with the air conditioning blowing in your eyes while reading. These measure should help you but for immediate relief you can use lubricating eye drops like Optive (one drop whenever you feel the burning sensation)

Hello.... don't stare continuously .... Give rest for five minutes in between .... Blink eyes frequently ... It forms a watery layer on surface ... Daily wash your eyes with fresh water .... Avoid dust and pollution...it could be due to allergy or dry eyes, use tear drops ...consult ophthalmologist once
