Burning of eyes
My wife is experiencing burning of eyes. Esp in the evening time. She has glasses and -3.5 number, she uses refresh tears to cool the eyes. She's been using this for long time. But since couple of days the burning has increased. She has tried cucumber slices, dipping eyes in cold water etc. What do you suggest?

Hello ......burning sensation especially in evening suggests dryness. Continue cold compresses....she can use goggles (wide frame) when she is out to prevent eyes from sun and dust...increase dose of refresh tears to 1 hourly...sshe will feel comfirtable with these measures

Hello..
Well it seems that something is triggering her burning sensation.. Few causes are
Dust,
Pollution,
Infection,
Lack of hygiene- including eyeliner,handkerchief etc,
Alter in power. It's better you consult an ophthalmologist
