Yours seems a typical case of computer vision syndrome. Due to overuse of gadgets like computers and mobile phones, you blink less, this allowing your tears to Evaporate and also get unevenly spread across the eye causing some pockets of dryness. This is what produces the redness and eye irritation. A long term solution is to blink more frequently at work and take short breaks of 30 seconds every 20-30 minutes. In the short term of course lubricant drops can be helpful. Maskati Eye Clinic, opposite Charni road station east, Mumbai
