Burn on my leg
Four days ago my leg got burnt because of a silencer. It blistered over few hours and the skin completely came off the next day. I applied cold water and burnol over it. I had kept it covered just for one day because I was travelling and I was scared of getting infection but when I removed the cotton it was filled with pus. Since last three days I haven't covered it but it hurts constantly and specially when I'm just standing. The skin around it is reddened and slightly warm to touch. Is there anything I can apply or any medicines I can have that could help? I haven't had any medicines so far and the only thing I have used on it is burnol.

You shouldn't have covered it. You increase the likelihood of infection. Now from your description it seems.that you have developed cellulitis (infection of deeper tissue). You need rest and antibiotics. Please meet me or a nearby dermatologist as quickly as possible. Dr Shaurya Rohatgi, MD
