Burn on hand
I spilled hot tea on my hand and burned a moderately large portion on the back of my hand. I immediately ran it under cold water, then ice water, then put an ice compress/pack on it. I did this for hours but there is still pain. The only time there isnt a throbbing/stinging pain is when I apply something cold to it. It has been around 24 hours but still hurts.

Hello..... Scald burns do affect the superficial dermis level of the skin and hence cause severe pain. It will be present for few days.... If u havent applied anything else, then do apply the moisturizers if the wound is very superficial and it ll give u relief. But if its deep then consult a surgeon and go for a dressing.
